Information We Collect

1. Location Data

The App collects your precise location (GPS coordinates) while you are tracking a run. Location data is used to:

  • Record your running route and display it on a map;
  • Calculate distance, pace, speed, elevation (where available);
  • Show statistics and progress of your runs over time.

Location is accessed only when you start a run and tracking is active. Depending on your device settings, the App may access location in the background during an active run so that your route can be recorded even if the screen is off or the App is not in the foreground.

2. Activity and Usage Data

During your use of the App we may collect information such as:

  • Run metrics (distance, duration, pace, route, timestamps);
  • Basic app usage information (which screens are used, basic events);
  • Non-personal statistics used to improve stability and performance.

3. Device and Log Information

Through our backend infrastructure (such as Firebase), we may automatically collect certain device information, including but not limited to: device model, operating system version, anonymous device identifiers, IP address, and diagnostic log information. This information is used for error reporting, analytics, and to ensure the App functions correctly.

4. Personal Information

The App does not require you to provide your name, address, or other directly identifying information to use the core running features. If you choose to contact us by email or provide information voluntarily (for example in a support request), we will receive the information you include in that communication and will use it only to respond to your inquiry.

Use of Collected Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide core App functionality (run tracking, maps, statistics);
  • To store and sync your running history in the cloud (Firebase);
  • To monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and security of the App;
  • To provide user support and respond to your requests.

Data Storage and Retention

Your run data and related information are stored securely in our backend (for example, in Google Firebase). We retain this data for as long as it is necessary to provide you with the App's functionality or as required by applicable law.

You may request deletion of your stored data by contacting us at [email protected]. After verifying your request, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, unless we are required to keep certain information for legal or legitimate business reasons.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or your device. These services are used for data storage, analytics, error reporting, and essential backend functionality. Examples include:

  • Google Firebase (database, authentication, analytics, crash reporting);
  • Google Maps or similar map providers (for displaying your route on a map).

These third-party service providers operate under their own Privacy Policies, which we recommend you review. We do not sell your data to third parties and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Data Sharing

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With service providers (such as Firebase) that help us operate the App;
  • When required to comply with a legal obligation, court order, or governmental request;
  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users or the public.

Your Choices and Controls

You can control the App's access to your device's location through your device settings. If you disable location permissions, the App will not be able to track your runs or display your route on the map, and certain features may not function properly.

You can also stop all collection of information by uninstalling the App. Uninstalling the App does not automatically delete data already stored in the cloud; if you want this data deleted, please contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date below. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
